I’m a seasoned yoga teacher, writer and mother. I teach hatha-vinyasa yoga, weaving progressive postures with breath to cultivate deeper presence.  I also guide pranayama, meditation and Yoga Nidra - all powerful remedies for modern life.

I began yoga seeking peace. Unexpectedly, I found courage. I’ve been practicing yoga for over 25-years. Long enough to observe its’ capacity to still busy minds, create physical vitality and unravel knots of the heart.

During seven-years of Vancouver rain, I followed the call to teach yoga in 2006, completing teacher trainings under the guidance of Kristen Campbell (2006-2009) in Whistler, Canada. At 6am on snowy mornings, Kristen’s mystical wake-up call resonated with rock-star potency and sprouted a community of yoga teachers that spans the globe.

Since 2009, Steve Hinchliffe has influenced my practice - as mentor, teacher and friend. With dedication and devotion, he inspires a rigorous physical practice, a commitment to classical pranayama and turning to the truth within. Grateful he tucked me under his wing at Vinyasa Yoga Wollongong.

Recent studies include applied neuroscience, the nervous system and pranayama with Julia McCabe and Yoga Nidra with Jana Roemer. I’m certified E-RYT® 200, RYT® 500 with Yoga Alliance. You’ll still find me teaching at Vinyasa Yoga Wollongong and community classes in Thirroul and Austinmer.

Before teaching yoga, I spent 17-years working in communications, media and PR for museums, galleries and universities in Sydney (Australia) and Vancouver (Canada). When not teaching yoga, or doing the school run, you’ll find me breathing life back into a near derelict 1940’s cottage. I live with my husband, son and labrador on unceded land of the Wadi Wadi people, Dharawal country.
